Phoenix Regional Airport (PRA), Maricopa, AZ

The pond is now dry and the grass is dead but this is still a great place to fly.
Large wide open area. Mountains to the east. Open pit copper mind to the
south east. Please do not fly over the runway or the houses to the north.

Directions:

1. Take I-10 East to Queen Creek Rd. Exit, turn right (West)
2. 16 miles on Queen Creek Rd. which becomes Maricopa Rd.
3. Arrive in town of Maricopa
4. Turn left (SE) onto Maricopa-Casa Grande Hwy 238 (notice the blue, NAPA AutoParts building)
5. 8 miles to Anderson Rd., turn left (look for three, large, beige water towers on the corner)
6. After abut 300 feet, Anderson Road becomes a dirt road. Continue for about 1/2 mile.
7. Turn right on Copperstate Road
8. About 1/2 mile down this road is the grass field.
